The Journey Home – The Halftime Report

Well…. we are halfway through this Journey Home and we’ve been tested and we’ve had joy and we’ve had wild emotions and we have made it through so far.

We’ve witnessed my cousin Toni’s reunion with her dad and her while U.S. family, we witnessed his reunion with his brother. I’ve had a beautiful reunion with a childhood friend. It’s just been an amazing journey filled with new and renewed love.

And the best part, in my mind, is that my business… this business… this little tea company that I️ have plugged away at day in and day out has been the means by which we were able to make all of this happen.

Congrats Sunshine Teas Louisiana for being a strong supporter of adoptees and adoptee first family reunions.

Coming up…. my reunion. And I am so excited and thrilled to be able meet my sisters and my aunties and my nieces and nephews and my step mother. What a huge blessing all of this.

What does “Home” mean to you?

Is it a physical place where you lay your head or is it inside your heart when you feel at peace?

For Sunshine Teas owner, Sara Heslin Woods, the journey home is both physical and spiritual.  Home is represented by both the physical through her returning to her birth place and also visiting the birth place of her father, as well as represented by the spiritual- a returning to the Original Source of Love.  A return to the Love of her Fsther- both ohysical and spiritual.

The merging of the spiritual and physical have always been a priority for Sunshine Teas Louisiana.  Our special blends of a tea, a fruit and a flower, made with love in a deliberately peaceful environment embody the principle that a strong mind equals a strong body.  We also strongly believe that what you consume affects your vibration and therefore your emotions.
